A Great Time of the Year
It doesn't get any better than this time of the year. NCAA March Madness, NBA and NHL regular seasons coming to an end, MLB starting up and yes the high school scene, my favorite, winds up the winter season with state tournaments in basketball and hockey. The hockey tournament features 3 divisions and let's face it, the bounce of a puck, hot goal tending, and you never know what might happen. I never like to make predictions because you never know. The big week in hockey is at the Ingalls Rink at Yale for the semifinals and championships, 9 games in 6 days and I get to broadcast them all! The Basketball championships also are great at the Mohegan Sun Arena on the same weekend. Like I said, it doesn't get much better. And to think, the baseball and softball seasons start 2 days later.
