2 Weeks in the High School Football Season
Well 2 weeks have been played in the High School Football season and if you look at the Polls, it looks very similar to last year's poll. Xavier keeps rolling along, winners of 28 games in a row and at #1, looking for a third straight state championship. Hand is right there, different players putting on those Tiger uniforms and picking up where their predecessors had left off. Ansonia continues to roll, steamrolling to the playoffs again and a state championship.
I know it 's only 2 weeks, but I see some of the same trends continuing. But it's nice to wonder if there will be other teams that come to the forefront and say they want a piece of the pie as well. It seems it always happens -but what Class will it happen in and from what conference will these teams be from. Lots of questions still to be answered but you can see patterns staring to develop, but it's nice to wonder.
