Another Championship Weekend is upon us and this one will bring an end to another school year. The Spring season goes so fast, yet still provides us with many thrills. The Softball season has had many exciting moments during the regular season, the mound being moved back to 43 feet certainly has provided more offense in the game and that's a good thing, but occasionally you still get that pitcher's duel. This year maybe more than any other, it has been downright impossible to to predict anything. But that's what makes it so exciting. So 4 Champions in Baseball and Softball will be crowned this weekend, putting a cap on another great school year, and while these games are going on, on another field close by, Spring football is underway at some schools. But trust me, I'm not rushing away the Summer. There are American Legion games to cover as well as Little League games to watch. Who knows - there may be a LL team on the Road to Williamsport.
